Consisting of nine buildings and more than 1M sq. ft., Facebook’s Menlo Park campus was constructed over a two-year period with the majority of work occurring in a very tight time frame from August to December 2011.
The project included approximately 450,000 sq. ft. of office space, two new exterior skybridges/stairs, five acres of courtyard, two ground-up cooking facilities, skin renovations, a full service café and a dining facility featuring 6,500 pieces of pipe rail. Work was coordinated to allow Facebook to move their entire workforce to the Menlo Park campus prior to the 2011 holiday season.
