Safety
Safety at each jobsite is our number one concern. SC BUILDERS' goal is that every day an individual enters a project site they will return home in the same condition as when they arrived. We will strive to achieve nothing less.
Communication
The key to success of any SC BUILDERS project, is communication. Communication is provided through weekly meetings where Schedule, Cost Control and Quality are on the agenda, in addition to daily updates as issues may arise. It is our goal to eliminate "surprises" to the project team. We believe through clear communication and effective interfacing, zero impacts can be achieved.
Scheduling
SC BUILDERS is responsible for creating and monitoring the schedule. The schedule, from preconstruction to occupancy, will clearly identify all activities required to complete a successful project. The schedules are reviewed and updated with all variances to the baseline being analyzed for cause and effect. If any critical activities slip, SC BUILDERS proactively creates a recovery plan to ensure that the completion date is preserved. A list of schedules that we deliver are as follows:

Cost Control
SC BUILDERS is responsible to establish, maintain and police the project costs at all time. When changes are requested or uncovered by the team, SC BUILDERS identifies a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) of each cost within 24 hours. The nature of the change is reviewed with the project team to insure complete understanding. When approval for the ROM is given, final pricing is quickly submitted. A key to success is the ability for the Client to know, at all times, their current costs and exposures. The goal is to eliminate "surprises" and to provide the Client complete control of each dollar spent.
Quality
To ensure that the highest standards of quality are achieved, SC BUILDERS incorporates a process that effectively meets and often exceeds the team's expectations. Some of the mechanisms we use to ensure quality are as follows:
- Establishing the team's expectations
- Pre-qualified subcontractors
- Preconstruction meetings with each subcontractor
- Use of Mock-ups
- Approval of "first portion" of work by the Client and the Design Team
- Diligent supervision of all work being performed
