Communication

The key to success of every SC BUILDERS project is communication. This takes place in weekly meetings where Schedule, Cost Control and Quality are always on the agenda, along with daily updates as issues may arise. We believe clear communication and effective interfacing provides the greatest opportunity to eliminate any "surprises" and achieve zero adverse impacts.

Scheduling

SC BUILDERS is responsible for creating and monitoring the schedule. From preconstruction to occupancy, the schedule identifies and tracks every activity required to successfully complete the project. Schedules are reviewed and updated with all variances from baseline being analyzed for cause and effect. If any critical activities slip, SC BUILDERS proactively creates a recovery plan to preserve the completion date. We deliver the following schedules:

• 3-Week Rolling Schedule

Cost Control

SC BUILDERS is responsible to establish, maintain and police the project at all times. When changes are requested or uncovered by the team, SC BUILDERS identifies a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) of each cost within 24 hours. The nature of the change is reviewed with the project team to ensure complete understanding. Once approval for the ROM is given, final pricing is quickly submitted. A key to success is the ability for the Client to know, at all times, their current costs and exposures. The goal is to eliminate "surprises" and to provide the Client complete control of every dollar spent.

Quality

To ensure the highest standards of quality, SC BUILDERS utilizes a unique process that meets and often exceeds the team’s expectations. Our process includes:

• Establishing the team’s expectations.
• Pre-qualified subcontractors.
• Preconstruction meetings with each subcontractor.
• Use of mock-ups.
• Approval of "first portion" of work by the Client and the Design Team.
• Diligent supervision of all work being performed.
